The 'real' Mona is the one in the center of the gray portion of the character select screen.
The game is pretty awesome and like the last one and all good comedy, it's a mixed bag that no one person will quite 'get', perhaps even the author.
Because guess what, it's not about 'getting' it.

Jesse Venbrux already did something like this, but it's a great concept and you pulled it off pretty well; I like the fact that there are variations on the death. Still, it doesn't quite match up to the stark simplicity and poignance of Venbrux's 'Execution'; I think the humorous elements jar a bit with your game's overall concept and keep it from affecting the player as much as it could.
Author's Response:
comparing this to "Execution" and saying this game doesn't match up to its "stark simplicity and poignance" is sort of missing the point.

Awful loop is awful. This isn't animation, this is turd of the week material. As for any pathetic idea that this is a 'tribute' of any kind, you're only deluding yourself.

You're bad. Very bad. Atrocious, in fact. Seriously, what were you smoking?
This isn't a tribute, it's a mockery to the dedication that MJ put into his work. You can't copy that by getting up in front of a camera and poorly copying moves from a YouTube video.

This remake is obviously hugely expansive and the elements of original design throughout are consistenly good too.
The only nag is that it's SO huge, it doesn't really belong in flash form, I feel. Unfortunately, you're trying to present a massive game which doesn't instantly deliver but which has fantastic depth to it which delivers EVENTUALLY.
To the NG audience, which expects short, snappy flash games that give rewards that are instantly gratifying, it's just not the right sort of game.
Consider releasing it as a downloadable stand-alone flash file on your website or an independent place akin to NG that has an audience which is actively looking for a game like this.
On an unrelated side-note, big props to you for not covering your game in ads. =D

But without any music it just feels empty and a little bit shoddy. You've got a couple of issues with timing in general as well, for much of the time it seems as if the characters are standing and doing very little, and it consequently feels just a little too long and drawn-out. That little bit extra could make this (or your sequel) pay off so much more for the work that you've clearly put in.

Quite possibly the best concept for a physics-based puzzler I've ever seen. Just a few minor niggles - I still think that something more creative could have happened with the different types of goo, and...exactly how did Spewer, an organism that vomits, save the scientist's patient? It really doesn't make a huge amount of sense.
The game itself was fantastic though, and all of your work is awesome across the board, Ed.

The concept was brilliant, the cutscenes were dino-tastic, and the gameplay, for all its so-called 'technical failings' was just FUN. That's the bottom line.
Your games are all outstanding. Keep up the good work!

"A fantastic concept, but a small technical issue."
I thought this was great in principle, but one of my major nigglings with it was that it would only take very short questions; anything longer would just go off-screen. This is particularly difficult when you're studying humanities at a high level like myself, when questions are rarely short than about 20-30 words. Accounting for this would put the finishing touch on what is otherwise a solid and thoroughly useful study tool.
